From giving workshops and building lecture series, to course renovation and online learning initiatives; my first military contract expanded my skillset greatly.
As a Senior Instructional Designer at the Naval Postgraduate School, I led the redesign of courses to align with mission-critical objectives, enhancing curriculum structure and instructional effectiveness. I spearheaded the development of the NPS Online Certificate Program, overseeing its design and implementation to ensure high-impact digital learning experiences for military and defense professionals. Collaborating with subject matter experts, I transformed complex content into engaging, structured training programs, including curricula, instructional playbooks, and interactive course materials. Additionally, I integrated digital learning strategies, refined assessments, and optimized learner engagement through innovative instructional design techniques.
I also led efforts to align branding guidelines with instructional materials, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all courses. By integrating consistent design elements, typography, and formatting standards, I enhanced learner engagement, readability, and knowledge retention while maintaining institutional integrity.
